Some nerd passed this
story along to me, since I’m the resident out-of-the-closet geek around here...
It would appear that the top futurist (pictured left, not a Russian
Futurist (real audio of “The Plight of the Flightless Birds” from a fill-in show
by Bob W.)) at some think tank is telling the egghead community that we’ll be
able to download our memories into computers by 2050, creating artificial
consciousness just like some movie you might have seen. But perhaps more
alarming is this claim by our clairvoyant illuminati:
"The new PlayStation is 1 per cent as powerful as a human brain."

all minute details of the future, according to our expert (left), from
capitalism to yogurt.
But don't get too excited yet, there’s always the chance that such high hopes for the future could be thwarted by the findings of future research. I’ll bet the dudes behind the recent Time Traveler Convention were absolutely crestfallen when they read about this study concerning the plausibility of traveling through wormholes. I suppose they could team up with the teleportation pundits to formulate a revised plan of action.

I wish get one of those teleport maker.
