WFMU's Stunt Turntable

WFMU recently acquired what we in the radio biz refer to as a Stunt Turntable (MP3), which is to say, we've acquired a Numark TT-100 to aid in the creation of good, freeform radio. This new Stunt Turntable not only plays records, but it plays them backwards, forwards, and at pitches so freely adjustable that many DJs openly weep at the mere thought of it. This Stunt Turntable also has a number of visual elements that are sadly lost on the listening audience due to radio's limited opportunities for visuals. Just remember, "if you find that the +-10% pitch fader range is not enough, holding down the quartz lock button for 3 seconds expands the range to +-20%!"
