Well it's about time good 'ol Mr. Bubbles surfaced! I confess to having watched more than the recommended dosage of this cat ... and how can you not!? You want horrifying? The Lawrence Welk Show is a psych-thriller mega-series. It's fascinating, sure, but so was GG Allin. What really astounds is showing up week after week, year after year, decade after decade, generation after generation, wearing clothes that came back into style and then went out again, and doing the same 'ol soft shoe routine. Every time. No exceptions. It's the Shakespearean equivalent of that knock-knock joke about the banana. Sentiments for this absurdity ad nauseum are under the spell of quite the frolicking baton in Sister Carrie's tribute.
Here's a direct link to the subframe as all those pictures -- well worth checking out, mind you -- on the main page do take a tad long to load (even with broadband).
... Rastawelk {snork!-}

Hey, this is Sista Carrie him or herself. (Yes, I've changed it to "Sista." It's for the intimidation factor. I came to realize people weren't taking me seriously enough.)
It's great to know that someone, somewhere, likes the welk-o-rama.
You know, there's like totally more stuff I could put on the site, but I just haven't updated it in like, oh, two years. But I do think some updating--if nothing else, some image-size-smallening--is preparing itself to happen.
I have an awesome "Whodat?" image that needs to go up! Speaking of which, maybe you've never seen Whodat. If you click on the yellow "welk-o-rama" and scroll down or something, you should be able to find it. It's super fun!
