Urban75 was definitely a pioneer in online celebrity-slapping games, as it hosted the much-loved "Slap A Spice Girl" Shockwave game in the mid-1990s. Sadly, the game has been removed from the Urban75 site, which is a shame because it was pretty amusing. It was like Whack-a-Mole, except instead of moles you had the Spice Girls (along with Maggie Thatcher, aka "Old Spice"), and instead of a mallet you had a hand.

smack a spice girl was great. as the spices popped up, a little sample of "i'll tell you what i want, what i really really want" would play. when you whacked them, their little eyes bulged out cartoonishly and they screamed "aiiee!". it was very gratifying.
