From the 1964 film For Those Who Think Young comes a disturbing musical interlude: Bob Denver singing "Ho Daddy" to a bunch of surfers (11 meg Quicktime movie), a song that will be familiar to regular listeners of Music To Spazz By. My list of grievances with this film clip is fairly long (why take the time to sing a song if the surf's up? What's up with the strange dance, bordering on idolatry, that the kids are doing around Denver? Why doesn't he get stepped on?), but the real reason to watch this clip is to see the late great Bob Denver, buried in sand and with a face painted on his chin, going through a series of facial contortions that must have scared the crap out of the 1960s teens that plunked down the money for admission to this film.
