Perhaps you've been lured away from America's 4,893 TV channels by a fascination with sub-titled fiction, or maybe the squeals and chirping emanating from yet another televised Spring Break in Cancun have sent you hibernating in foreign wavelengths. Who can blame you?
While TV in the U.S. does have its moments, I invite you to ponder why Japanese gameshows dwell upon painfully morbid consequences for losing, why Inuit women in Canada can make cracking eggs utterly hilarious, why great bands do jokey things on European TV, and how exposing Japanese children to a giant psychedelic peanut will affect their adult relationships.
Or maybe you don't want to think, and instead wish to space out and watch the pretty pictures float by: check out this clip of Dutch TV (wmv, 17 MB) that our own David 'Pants' Suisman captured during a recent trip to Holland.
