If I ever wind up a music booker in Hawaii and have to do a local-flavored bill, the only thing that could compensate for not being able to revive Gabby Pahinui would be to reunite the Fuckin' Flying A-Heads. It would be a short show, as they only had one single, I believe, from 1980. But I'll encourage an encore of their hit song played over. Several times.

Any chance you could put up the flip-side, "Watching TV", it was even better, or at least more seriously deranged. Haven't heard either in over 20 years, just amazing.
I was working in a record store in Palo Alto when a woman brought in a bunch of the singles; turned out she was closely associated with them.
We all loved the single, and picked up and sold a number of them. She actually got the band over to SFO to play a couple of shows, I'm still pissed that I missed seeing them perform.
