365 Days #318 - Carlton the Doorman (mp3s)

318 MP3:
Who Is It (3:07)
The Girl in 510 (2:33)

Lorenzo Music is best know to the kids today as the original voice of Garfield on the cartoon, but back in the day, he was Carlton the Doorman on Rhoda. Most importantly, he was a writer on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and created The Bob Newhart Show (possibly his best moment?)

In 1976, he hosted a syndicated television variety show with his wife Henrietta, but it didn't last long.

These songs come from a single released the year before, though the character of Carlton the Doorman would hit the pinnacle of success with a cartoon special in 1980 that won an Emmy Award.

- Contributed by: John Mitchell

Media: 7" Single
