When Suzanne Pleshette's demise was announced, you thought: who knew she was still alive?
Same for Netscape Navigator (1994-2008). Well, not dead, but not exactly on life support.
Who else is still alive we presume dead? (David Lee Roth's career doesn't count.) Deposit names in the Comments section.

Actually, this reminded me that I wrote a script some years ago to scrape the content of the Dead People Server to find out who's still alive. I just ran it again, and it still works. Here's a list of everybody famous enough to be listed there who was born before 1920 and is still alive:
Forrest J Ackerman, Allan Arbus, Eddy Arnold, Ernest Borgnine, David Brown, Frank Cady, Sir Arthur C. Clarke, Professor Irwin Corey, Olivia De Havilland, Dr. Michael DeBakey, Phyllis Diller, Kirk Douglas, Philip Jose Farmer, Mark Felt, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Mel Ferrer, Joan Fontaine, Horton Foote, John Forsythe, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Martin Gardner, Betty Garrett, William Gibson, Dody Goodman, Paul Harvey, Celeste Holm, Lena Horne, Van Johnson, Jennifer Jones, Evelyn Keyes, C. Everett Koop, Jack LaLanne, Claude Levi-Strauss, Art Linkletter, Norman Lloyd, Herbert Lom, Marjorie Lord, Karl Malden, Tony Martin, Marian McPartland, Bill Melendez, Mitch Miller, Al Molinaro, Harry Morgan, Edwin Newman, Don Pardo, Les Paul, Nehemiah Persoff, Meinhardt Raabe, Luise Rainer, Frances Reid, Andy Rooney, J. D. Salinger, Pete Seeger, George Shearing, Sargent Shriver, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Jo Stafford, Herman Stein, Gloria Stuart, Studs Terkel, Charles Townes, Raf Vallone, Abigail Van Buren, Mike Wallace, Eli Wallach, Kitty Wells, Richard Widmark, Andrew Wyeth, Alan Young, Efrem Zimbalist, Jr.
So there you go.
