Who Should It Be???
If you don't count this guy (link) - and I certainly don't - that means there is a scant 9 months and 7 days left for our current commander in chief to pick a rock/pop star for an historic photo op. Who Should It Be???

Has there been a Dubya/Bono portrait that uses the requisite blockiing already?
If the pop star needs to be addled (drugwise or otherwise) to fit the tradition, then I would like to see Dubya with Pete Doherty or Amy Winehouse.

I think it needs to be a pop star that receives an ironic award:
Elvis becoming a "Federal Agent-at-Large" in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs or MJ for the "outstanding example you have set for the youth of America and the world".
Pre-bald Britney would have been an exemplary example for all of the young mothers in the world and should have received a presidential award for it, but sadly that ship has sailed now.

Well, for now the default picture will have to be the famous one with Mark Wills taken during the Katrina Disaster.
Not as goofy as some would like, but there you have it.

I should have elaborated earlier; GG fits with the Bush Doctrine
of drawing blood, making things shitty, and then wallowing in it.

"President Bush shakes hands with musician Israel 'Cachoa' Lopez, left, and his group during the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, in the Rose Garden at the White House in Washington."
This is my favorite. Bass guy is so psyched, and W. won't even look at him while shaking his hand..
