I collect comedy records and I have no standards. Good or bad I like them all. Here's a pile for your home listening - get the backstory on most of them here.
Godfrey Cambridge: at The Hotel Aladdin
Allen & Rossi at The Sands
George Gobel at The Sands
Orson Bean at The Hungry i
Moms Mabley at The Playboy Club & Breaks Up the Network
Here's Milt Kamen!
Jack Paar: The Best of What's His Name
Robert Klein: Child of the Fifties
The Humor of Rowan and Martin
Minnie Pearl: Howdee!
Are You Ready for Phyllis Diller?
Murray Roman: A Blind Man's Movie
Jimmy Lynch: That Funky Tramp in a Nightclub

Whoa! Murray Roman, Moms Mabley *AND* Phyllis Diller. Quite a treat. Ever since seeing Diller star opposite a six foot tall zombie poodle in The Bone Yard, I've been hooked.
But the Minnie Pearl find is awesome, too. Apparently she had an off-the-charts IQ.

I'm a huge fan of old comedy records. I've recently gotten into the Smothers Brothers by finding a number of their albums, scrounging through $1 record bins.
I haven't been able to find that Godfrey Cambridge, so I appreciate you putting that up, for sure.
