Even though they played out last in 2005 at CBGB (after an over-decade-long absence) and released their last record in the early 90's, don't assume NYC's El Chain Gang are not keeping up with the times. Perhaps they just haven't felt the need to comment on current events since the days of Son of Sam, but that has changed. Thanks to the Music Director from Who Walk In Brooklyn for the heads up on an event surely as historic as the Olympics, even if it is a new recording over a slowed down remix of an old song.
