Listed below are links to weblogs that reference Plan B:
i had just read an article about a 'homeless' guy (preferred to be called an 'urban outdoorsman'- who, working out of a coffee shop with wireless, used his laptop and a headset to make a decent living doing telemarketing or customer service kind of freelance for various companies. he was making about $1000 every two weeks, got payed through paypal and had a card, yet still preferred to live in his shanty.
but i don't think it was this guy.

Two-thirds of U.S. corporations paid no
federal income taxes between 1998 and 2005, according
to a new report from Congress.
The study by the Government Accountability Office,
expected to be released Tuesday, said about 68 percent
of foreign companies doing business in the U.S.
avoided corporate taxes over the same period.

Corporations are not supposed to pay taxes - or not much, anyway. That is the point. Taxation occurs after the money is passed to the shareholders. Even a little one-man-band S Corp does its best to make sure every penny gets passed to the single shareholder, the owner.
The 1/3 of the corporations from your statistic either paid a tiny amount of tax, maybe because they made too much and could not effectively get it to the shareholders or spend it, or had a bunch of stupid accountants.

True, Bill Gates has suffered enough it's time that guy caught a break

I think the tax deductible money corporations spent writing the tax code has paid dividends. I'm still high on the government economic stimulus I received earlier this year. Hoping for another government hit before Christmas.

Whilst urinating in the public bathroom of the Hotel Pennsylvania, I bumped into a guy bathing in the sink. Of course, being the 2K Hope conference, it turned out to be Richard Stallman. You sure that's not him?

Funny though, that most of these people (bums) and the illegals coming across the borders are often much more free than the typical 9 to 5 dumbass stressing out over his miserable life, which includes paying taxes to fund immoral wars and*&#@*((@(((@((@((@(
