This is awesome. I used to visit the family when I was in high school and dating the younger Robin. The elder was always a bit of mystery to me and I didn't appreciate him then. It must have been the Duran Duran influence. He was a truly amazing man.

I've had this song stuck in my head for a week and a half. Ahhh. Still thanks for posting it. Once I got over the strange presentation, I found it pretty affecting and bittersweet.

Yes, and since when does image actually count for anything among real musicians or cultural figures, anyway? If he'd looked like a rocker from that period usually disd in those days, the pundits here would still toss barbs, and I'm sure many of them aren't exactly GQ models themselves. Tyner was a phenomenal force.
