A few months ago I visited Peru, and decided to hit the record button during a taxi ride through Lima. Windows rolled down, radio on, a little beep-beep here and there, and the miraculous sounds of a 2-horsepower Daewoo Tico's modest suspension courageously battling the chewed up city streets (and even a few curbs).

On the right is a photo of roadside ads landscaped onto the embankment of the main highway in Lima. Clever marketing.

This was recorded with an Edirol R-09. Not the greatest built-in mic I must admit, but when the resources are limited...
