You never forget the first time you see Randell & Schippers. Good afternoon. My name is Dave and I am a Randell & Schippers addict. I greet you all today with the sincere wish that you might either save me or come along and join my warped cause.
For many (including myself) the introduction into the unique world of Denny Randell and Biddy Schippers came last week about six and a half hours in to the Jerry Lewis Telethon. Slamming out hit after self-penned hit in a record seven minutes, Randell, Schippers and their potrzebie musical co-horts left me slack-jawed, awestruck and unable to function rationally in normal society. They would've also stolen the whole damn show if Jerry didn't start making erection jokes with Charo. That's cheating.

I feel like I was just at the longest wedding ever. I watched a lot of the telethon just because I feel like we won't have Jerry to kick around forever. I missed this gem though, thanks for sharing it.

From Denny Randell's blog: "I've never doubted the existence of life forms that are not from this planet and are alien to life as we know it."
- After seeing this, I am in complete agreement with him.

Apparently he had something to do with Disco Tex and the Sex-o-lettes.
WTF?

And this from his web site: "Randell also helped write “Christmas in the Stars: The Star Wars Christmas Album,” which marked the recording debut of a teenage Jon Bon Jovi."..
I LIVE for the telethon and moments like these..thanks for posting, I missed it too...
