Paul Jeffrey used to be a DJ at WXDU in Durham, NC, and he always brought in his dog, whom you'd hear barking in the background during talksets. He teaches jazz at Duke, and when I took his Intro to Jazz class, my classmates were Bobby Hurley, Christian Laettner, and Grant Hill--word was definitely out about how arduous that class was!
