I'm a huge fan of my local cable access channels (BCAT in Brooklyn), because like freeform radio, you tune in at any moment and could be equally disgusted, enthralled, confused, or all of the above. Sure, there's a fair share of dull religious programming, but do something else on Sunday. Any other day, tune in for some random fun (see wtf singalong montage above, with birds and zombie child): BCAT has 3 live video streams!
Some of my favorite cable access wtf moments include a Bollywood stage production with dancing ninjas, the Goddesses show (feat. Big Beautiful Women), step-by-step drum lessons, the Adventures of Electra Elf with Rev. Jen, a trampoline exercise program led by a silver-clad ex-raver with pigtails, a skeezy-looking biker guy who hangs out with skeezy-looking scantily clad babes with a lot of cleavage zoom-ins, and of course the hair weave show.
