Along with Albert Brooks and Art Metrano, Charlie Callas was a bastion of experimental comedy during the late sixties and all throughout the seventies. A combination of Ed Sullivan traditionalist and alternative comedy groundbreaker - Charlie Callas was awesome.

Always loved seeing him show up. VERY underrated. CRAZ-EEEE! All I can say. TRhanks for these links.

I remember seeing that duck hunting routine on Mike Douglas or Merv Griffin when I was a kid. In fact, I was just searching for it last week, but for some reason I was sure that it had been David Brenner. As a kid, I loved all the sounds and faces, but I didn't really get the joke, so I thought if I could see it now I would understand it, but actually it still doesn't make any sense to me!

I'll miss him. I have a lot of fun memories of watching him when I was little.
