Dear Friends In Radio:
I announced this on the air tonight: Aerlal View comes to an end Friday, March 18. It's been on WFMU 16 years and I'm sorry to see it go. My job's gone full-time and I'm no longer free Friday nights.
The Iowa Firecracker Bronwyn will host Friday nights 6 - 7 PM, beginning March 25.
Thanks for everyone's support over the years, especially the staff of WFMU. I've always been given the freedom to do my show as I see fit, and for that I am eternally grateful.
All best,
Chris T.
P.S. Look for “Chris T.'s Cursing Like A Sailor” podcast, sometime in April!
OMG!! This is listener Karen from San Francisco. Chris, I missed last week's show where perhaps you announced this? This is a shock. You gave me hope that radio could still be informative and entertaining. That it could be a forum for interaction. Now what? Yet, I understand your circumstances...
Still, you've become important to many who are listening out there. I hope you don't just disappear... Your show is amazing and I always liked to listen in at 3 pm PST. I even scheduled meetings around it (though They don't know that) on Fridays. Anyway, I guess we have you for a few more weeks. I'm still sad though....
Cheers from a loyal west coast listener....
Karen

Good luck with your future, chris. Thanks for being a part of my friday night drive home for the last few years.

Man, this is depressing. Your show has become part of a Friday afternoon ritual for me (west coast time). I've been listening continually since FMU started streaming online.
I look forward to the podcasts and more complete archives from the early (pre-internet) years.

Chris: I missed this show as well and really wish I'd been listening. It's a big blow - one of my favforite consistent parts of the week going away - but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Please come back and fill in or something some time!
