Better late than never. There was an utterly unique and indescribable show aired on London's Resonance FM for a while last year: The Hellebore Shew, hosted by a guy named Dan Wilson. Dan was only 19 at the time, and not necessarily travelling in the same universe as the rest of us, but obviously awesomely talented. I heard the show just a few times during its original run and then kind of forgot about it. But while writing a piece on Dan yesterday (actually a review of his new CD, under the name Meadow House, coming out soon), I went back to the Hellebore archives and listened to a bunch of random samples of the program.
It's brilliant. Fans of the more extreme genius moments in FMU's history will be very impressed. Check it out at once:

As for the Meadow House CD, also not to be missed, it's called Tongue Under a Ton of Nine-Volters. It's due out in a month or so, I think, on London's Alcohol Records.
I suggest that you also listen to Dan's newer series: Epistaxis Time.
I just got my copy of the new Meadow House album, and I agree it is great stuff. I think it would take more than a lorry-load of documentary film-makers to turn Mr Wilson into a commercial concern. If you get a moment, check out my review of the album.
