Thanks to John Neilson for alerting us to the hot rappin', crotch-grabbing sounds of the Mongol Hordes, carrying the frontline in Mongolia's continuing hip-hop scene that sprung up around 1991 upon the Soviets' exit. Along with democracy, Mongolians apparently also re-embraced Genghis Khan as a national icon and the group Black Rose especially waved GK's freak flag pretty heavily.
