The Livestock Marketing Association in Kansas City sells great CDs and videos of champion livestock auctioneers. The LMA's 42nd annual World Livestock Auctioneer Championship will be held June 18 at the Tulsa Stockyards. Listen to streaming audio of auctioneer champions from 1963-2004 or round up MP3s of a few of my faves:
Stenson Clontz - 1985
Cecil Ward - 1964
Steve Liptay - 1976
Also from the LMA site...
Missing, Strayed or Stolen Livestock Alert:
Mississippi, 5/9/2005, a black bald face high quality English heifer weighing 455 with the tag number 406. She is from Livingston, Alabama, so the tag ID will begin with 64. She escaped along with others during loading from Tadlock Stockyard in Forest, Mississippi, and is the only one remaining at large. If you have any information, please contact the Livestock Board of Trade at 800-821-2048.
Thanks for posting that... I go to (non-livestock) auctions sometimes and never heard them talk quite that fast. Definitely entertaining to listen to!

Houses are quite expensive and not every person can buy it. However, business loans was created to help different people in such cases.
