Kenny G, you've been served.
A catholic high school in McSherrystown, PA is raising money for Hurricane Katrina victims by playing Hanson's "MmmBop" (oh yes, we've gone there... real audio from an archive of Greasy Kid Stuff) over the loudspeaker before school, in between classes, and during lunchtime, until they raise $3000 (click here to read more).
Thanks to listener Scott in D.C. for the red alert.
oh god...

hey, my name is matt, i attened the school that did the stop the bop, it was actually a good idea, it got people to donate, it took us about 5 days to get the goal of 3000 dollars, but we did. when the school was on the early show the other week, hanson's producer saw it and hanson was gonna come out and do a concert at the school, but they couldnt so they instead are giving every student a copy of their latest cd and a letter about matching the money we raised or something like that. the song did get really annoying though, and i donated about 10 dollars to stop it. lol
