I Don't Get It

Yahoo_1Whenever I go to sign in to my Yahoo mail account, there's an ad with some heinous picture telling me that I should sign up for Yahoo mail. But I already have signed up for Yahoo mail, or I wouldn't be on the page that has the ad in the first place. And what is it about these awful people that's supposed to entice me into signing up? This guy is one of the worst, although there's also that fool with the orange flowers up his nose.

Yeah, for reasons I don't understand I began to loathe the guy with the orange flowers (they're in his ears not his nose) .

If you use Firefox I'd recommend the Remove it Permanently extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=521&application=firefox). It'll help you clean up pages that you frequently visit by removing junk like that. Right now my Yahoo sign in page looks like this: http://www.crepusculum.org/imago/rip.gif

oh god, i've never seen that one! come to think of it, mine are always heinous pictures of females...guess they've assigned each gender their own set of irritating "candids".

Yeah they're all annoying. I especially cannot stand the 'celebrity' cameos they use sometimes. Particularly, this one with Kid Rock. Makes me want to punch him in the throat every time:
