Last week we brought you the Butthole Surfers on acid, appearing on public access TV. As a continuation, here are the Beastie Boys, also from a 1984 Scott and Gary Show. They were too young for drugs at the time, and pose a much easier task for interviewer Scott Lewis. Drummer Kate Schellenbach went on to play in Luscious Jackson, and you all know what happened with the boys after they met Rick Rubin. The songs are White Shadow (twice) and Egg Raid on Mojo (once). Here are the videos:
Music (50 meg Quicktime) | Interview (22 meg Quicktime)
The first of those is also on YouTube, in two parts: Part 1 | Part 2
What I liked best about this episode...I looked really tall.
