While the rigors of offering safe commercial airline services in these difficult times are well acknowledged, it seems that maybe American Airlines has the "cut that out or we're diverting the flight" plan a little too ready. Perhaps the past inflight actions of these other people might be beneficial after all, to inject some cash (via landing fees) into the economies of Newfoundland, Nova Scotia or Bermuda when transatlantic flights just need to reroute to teach someone a valuable lesson.
