A mere 1,700 Brits have signed a petition on the 10 Downing Street site seeking a recommendation that the Queen confer Knighthood on Ringo Starr. By contrast 2,461 people on the same site have voted to replace the British national anthem with "Gold" by Spandau Ballet. Sadly only British citizens are eligible to vote... (via i like)

i hope he and the queen wear wardrobe from ''caveman'' when it happens. there's a funny vid on line of him - joe walsh, todd rundgren and others showing up unannounced and tee-rashed on the jerry lewis telethon in the 70s. funny ! Jerry looks unhinged.
