These photos are great. This one reminds me of my days working for Excelledent labs in Clifton delivering dental casts, dentures and bridges. This looks to be more the kind of work that a doctor would do in their offfice. Mostly my job was to deliver dentures, casts, molds, bridges etc. back and forth from the lab to the Dentists in a Dodge Aspen. Later there was trouble with the Aspen and the place got a Yugo. Along Clifton ave. in Clifton there was a long stretch of medical offices where I made a lot of deliveries. There was also a speed trap along that road and I got numerous tickets as well as from the speed trap towards Paterson on Route 80. Besides the fact that I was a goofy kid at the time I was and remain a terrible driver and ultimately lost my licesne entirely due to points accrued during work hours. For a few weeks I did work around the lab, basic stuff. It's a hard business to break iinto mmost of the people who actually made the dental products had learned their skill in the military. There was a also a young woman there apprenticing, she was going to work a full year for nothing just to learn the trade. Without a license there was no reason to keep me and I was shown the door.
