Another flurry of links of muzak clips (while they last), so click away: Finnish shouting choir Mieskuoro Huutajaat! Geza X on the legnedary New Wave Theater TV show out in LA, a bonafide Crispin Glover music video for "Clowny Clown", metal madness on the Uncle Floyd show courtesy Ambush circa 1987, and the dark void of Genocide. Nurse With Wound live on stage at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco last year (I'm not quite sure what's happening either, but I sure wish I was there), the Brotzmann/Sharrock/Laswell/Jackson ball of energy known as Last Exit, live on stage in the mid-to-late 1980's, the great gods of Mid-Atlantic U.S. doom Pentagram circa 1983, panic skiffle rock legends-in-waiting the Hank IV rocking SXSW a couple weeks back (singer Bob McDonald's old Denver HC band Bum Kon is getting reissued soon!). What else: more of that genius Mummies public access appearance I hadn't seen before, Quintron and Miss Pussycat in full flight, Syrian vocal powerhouse Asmahan. Black Metal terrors Marduk's grimmed out "Steel Inferno", and possibly the more terrifying unreleased version of the video. And finally, my eyebrows raised to find one hit on You Tube of Abruptum, possibly the most evil functioning band on the planet (new album on Southern Lord dropping this month once again features singer It whipping himself in studio), though I am wondering if the band indeed sanctioned these visuals to accompany their sounds. It could be possible? Thanks to Fatty Jubbo, Tony B. and CSTB for bringing a some of these clips to our attention.
my favorite metal video at the moment:
