A few hundred years from now, when the aliens sift through the ruble of our smoldering planet - I am certain that this video clip of Karl Rove rapping at the White House Correspondents dinner will be recognized as a key document in understanding what actually happened:
This is so stupid it's nearly torture to watch. I was subjected to it on the news while getting ready for work this morning... thought it was a joke but guess not?

I only found true humour in it by imagining that the MC was Rex.

He likes ripping the heads off of small animals? Maybe he's not such a bad guy after all!

That was officially the worst beat-boxing EVER.

To paraphrase MST3K's Crow T. Robot, aside from the fact that I'll never again experience joy in my life, I don't think that Karl Rove clip had any kind of negative effect on me...

what a perfect moment to reflect on how historic and brilliant the Colbert roast was

Awwww, how sweet, an ole timey minstrel show! Let's see that black face, Karl. Get some sympathy from your southern supporters.

Gosh, I used to think this blog's new embedded video player was a good thing. I am now forced to reconsider.

I made it about 5 minutes in. Do they dump a bucket of pigs' blood on him or anything?

Since first seeing this video earlier this week, my greatest fear is and will remain that on my deathbed no visions of my loved ones or the things I loved will come to me, but this unholy performance will.

The utter humorless of him and Pres Bush who is caught on camera as well, tells you a lot. What we have here, folks, is a failure of imagination, a failure to be able to express anything. That is the heart of a killer.

Watching that horrorshow actually dented my soul a little.
