I managed to find this record in a Salvation Army Thrift Shop years ago, and was astounded when I listened.

Bloomfield, Eastern Greene and Union (Dugger) each will play two games while the remaining area high school boys basketball teams will each play just once in the second weekend of December.

On Friday, Bloomfield (2-2, 2-2) will play at Clay City (1-1, 1-0) in a Southwestern Indiana Athletic Conference game; Brown County (3-1) will visit Eastern Greene (3-0); and Union (0-4) will play at Sullivan (3-0).

On Saturday, Bloomfield will continue its string of double weekends when the Cardinals play at Edgewood (3-0); Linton-Stockton (0-3, 0-1) will play a SWIAC game at WRV (4-0, 0-0); North Knox (2-1) will visit Eastern Greene; and Union (Dugger) (0-4, 0-2, 0-2) will play at Shakamak (1-1, 1-0, 0-0) in a game that will count in both the SWIAC and Tri-River Conference standings.

After opening with three victories, all on the road, Eastern Greene will finally return home for two games this weekend. They will face a Brown County team that is coming off of a 71-56 victory at Northview Dec. 5.

The Eagles are coached by Roger Fleetwood, who is 19-27 in his third season at Brown County.

The two teams have split the last 16 games.

North Knox has defeated Linton-Stockton and Union (Dugger) before losing to Vincennes Rivet 64-52 in their last outing. Coach Aaron hall is in his third season in charge of the Warriors (15-35 70-270 exam

Eastern Greene has dominated the series, winning 13 of the past 14 meetings. The Thunderbirds defeated the Warriors 47-29 at home in the first game of the Class 2A Sectional in March 2009. 640-863 exam
