From the LRS site: Legion of Rock Stars pioneered Pure Pleasure, in which the band listens to recordings of classic rock and pop songs on 30dB noise-blocking headsets, and then plays along. Freed from the shackles of practicing, LRS focuses instead on bringing the excitement of a large stadium rock show to the intimate arenas in which it performs.
Witness: Pearl Jam's "Even Flow" and Billy Idol's "Dancing With Myself"
You Tube links: The Who's "Eminence Front."
Simple Minds' "Don't You Forget About Me"
Depeche Mode's "People Are People"
The Kinks' "Tired of Waiting For You"
Journey's "Any Way You Want It"
Cher's "Believe"
and possibly the crowning jewel, Danzig's "Mother" (thank you to the always-newsbreaking CSTB.) There's dozens more LRS clips on this page, and their site has MP3 downloads.
I can't stop watching these. THANK YOU!

Have you tried playing BOTH videos at the same time? Amazing!

It's like the Portsmouth Sinfonia of alternative rock cover bands.

Until the first chorus I thought Danzig was wearing a turtleneck, but it's his actual neck. Perhaps a turtleneck would have been appropriate.

Where are these guys now? I can't believe I never heard of 'em before, living in LA and all...

I saw these guys play live once. All I remember is I got laid that night. Rock on, LRS!
