This week begins WFMU's Summer schedule. I'll remain right where I've been, Fridays noon-3; but I'll be adding a segment. Each Friday at 2:45pm, I'll be joined by fellow enthusiasts (not snobs) for some, uh, fellowship - we'll be drinking beer, and talking about it. This week's guests will include Bill Zurat, X-Ray Burns, and Jason Slack. Each of us will offer up a different beer. Subsequently, we'll focus on a single beer each week - I'll give you the headsup as to which one ahead of time (here) so you can be sure you're sharing the proper brew!
Last week on the blahg, I told of one beer we would absolutely not be drinking: Cock Ale. Here comes another: Practice Beer For Kids
From the Land of the Rising Sun comes an expedient approach to raising your sons (and daughters): giving the buggers a taste for the Soma real early. Practice Beer For Kids. Oh yes, today it's merely carbonated apple juice with a good head, but tomorrow brings a worker drone catacomb high-rise apartment office, so kids -- just close your eyes, drink up, and think of Speedracer.
One more time, that link is - see you Friday.
Thanks Nick The Bard!
i'd like to hear the panel's take on a genny cream ale, please.

Thanks for the suggestion Kurt! If anyone else would like to suggest a beer for us to drink & discuss, feel free to leave a comment here, or on any of my Summer 2007 playlists.

I'd like to know what you think of some of the Six Point beers from Brooklyn... though they don't come in bottles, yet.
