As a special treat for Father's Day, here is a song from the real West, where men are men and sheep are scared: The Three Young Men (From Montana) - Walk The World Like A Man (MP3)
This is from the 1962 Columbia LP "A Fresh New Sound!!!!" (whose title is printed 9 times on the cover, lest you forget it) by The Three Young Men (From Montana). I am sure that the four exclamation points and the parentheses in the band name have some kind of significance, but I haven't quite figured it out yet.
These cats knocked me over! I have been Googling all night, looking for CDs or other materials on these guys. Can you add some more cuts here from their albums (I think they did a "Folk Song Favorites" as well)? Is there any way to get their music on CD, or as mp3s?
Love this blog, and check it for new music every day!

I don't think their music is on CD. We had the LP at my old radio station, WCBN in Michigan, and I extracted this song from one of my old airchecks. Unfortunately, I never digitized the whole album, maybe I'll do it next time I visit Ann Arbor. It pops up on eBay and used vinyl sites from time to time, for moderate prices.
