the glare on the greasy cutting board makes the picture look like some sort of candy glazed calzone with the COC logo cut into it. aside from the DRI logo, the COC logo was the hardest to scrawl onto various objects around town. It always ended up looking like a blob of spiky shit.
speaking of COC- when I bought the Animosity record, I was a bit perplexed. Only recently did I go back to it and realize what an truly odd record it is. It still holds the test of time and nobody came near to replicating the strange melding of punk, metal and bad recording techniques...not even them- as I recall that onward from Animosity their records became bland and generic.

I should mention that the above pizza is homemade and features the following toppings: artichoke, chicken, garlic, pancetta, fresh mozzarella, and LOTS of rosemary. It tasted better than any COC record that I am currently aware of.

important question....
are you a side 1 or a side 2 man of animosity?

Neither, really. I never liked those guys or knew much about them. Their iconic logo was something that I associated more with being drawn on one's shoes or art history notebook.

I dunno anything about the band, but Mike's pizza sure sounds tasty. Combined with the bartenders' creations that "To Serve Man" owners already know, it must make for a fine evening at home. In fact, I've got to go, so that my Monday night tradition of preparing my own culinary salvos to the tune of Mike's show can continue.
