In case you missed our last announcement, WFMU's SXSW concert is a go for Friday, March 14th down at Spiro's (611 Red River in downtown Austin, Texas): two stages of artists much beloved to us here, needless to say we're speechless beyond words to be presenting them! Just added, Citay (pictured left), a masterful and majestic psych rock ensemble out of San Francisco (who will also be playing on Liz Berg's program on March 24th), plus the great French electro/garage-punk outfit Cheveu (pictured right)! Also on the bill, Harvey Milk, Kelley Stoltz, Half Japanese, the Bad Trips, Carla Bozulich's Evangelista, the Hank IV, Paul Metzger, the Lexie Mountain Boys, Gary Higgins, and Psychedelic Horseshit! We're going to be broadcasting live at least half of these bands, and it kicks off at 8pm Austin time. I and a few other WFMU staffers will be in the house as well, so please stop by the table to say hi, and get ready for a night of musical mayhem!
This line up looks dandy...dandy indeed! Bravo to all involved in the arrangements and see you in Austin

Is this an official SXSW show? Do you need to have a SXSW wristband to get in, or will this be open to the public?
