WFMU's Summer Program Schedule took effect today, and it runs from now (June 16th) until October 6th. You can see the schedule here, or as a big ass list here.
It seems odd to change the schedule twice a year, but traditions die hard at WFMU. The twice annual changing of the guard is a vestige of WFMU's agrarian heritage, when our DJs were forced into the fields en masse for spring plantings and again in the Fall for the harvest. While most of our DJs now struggle with a can of spaghettios rather than a plough, the tradition lives on.
