Watching the Staten Island Ferry nearly get creamed in the harbor by a 50 cannon salute off Battery Park last Friday, I was reminded of the pleasure it gives me to occasionally find a good looking picture of a boat on this very blog. Ahhhhh, boats. Boat. Boat. Boat. Boats BOATS Here's 2 more, from the Los Angeles Fire Department's boat gallery, plus a Nantucket Sleighride.
Hmm. Didn't Woody Allen do a bit about how his wife was so immature that she would come into the bathroom while he was in the tub and sink his boats?

Hi Scott. Chances are you know of this, but just in case, have you heard of Shaun O'Boyle's photos of the decaying boatyard in the Arthur Kill River on the S.W. side of Staten Island?

The American Practical Navigator or "Bowditch" is unsuitable for bath time but a lot cheaper than an actual boat if you check the major online retailer. Dutton's Navigation and Piloting is yet cheaper still. Much safer than getting hit by a stray bullet from some lobsterpot dispute.
