Last night, Marty McSorley broadcast a live set from Baltimore's Future Islands. The set was filled with rhythmic keyboard pop that will worm its way into your ears instantly, including some tracks from their upcoming album, Wave Like Home, out on Upset the Rhythm (CD) and Wham City (LP) on August 25th. If you're in the New York area, the band will be playing in Brooklyn on August 23 and August 24, at the Treefort and Union Pool, respectively. If you are not in the New York area, you'll be able to catch them on their tour with Adventure this fall. Tour dates are available on their myspace.
