Nice. You're comin' correct with all these Rodium mixtapes! This is another one I got from the Rodium when it first came out and I still have the tape.

Here's my collection:

This mix is pure fire!

I remember getting this tape from Kobey's back in 87 or 88. The last time I ever got a mix tape from there was back in the early 90s. You can't imagine the smile that came over my face when I saw the tape cover (the one I got was printed on neon yellow paper). Thanks so much for sharing this and the other "swap meet mixes." There is one in particular that I've been searching for and I even went so far as to contact old friends to see if they had it stored away in a box somewhere. This particular mix was called, "The Late Great 88 Power Mix." One side started out with Johnny O's, "Fantasy Girl" and the other side began with Tone Loc's, "Funky Cold Medina."
I admire you for keeping your tapes intact. I, unfortunately, made the mistake of lending them out to "friends" whom I haven't seen since the 80's, LOL. It would be amazing to have all these those great mixes on CD with the same exact covers. There's got to be some way to do that!

Many thanks.

Harvey, the mix you're talking about is by legendary bay area dj Cameron Paul "The late great 88 mix" You could find it on Mixx-it.com I may have a mp3 of it, I have to look for it.
