Here is an amazing video of a performance of Han Bennink, in three parts plus encore. He played the "Cheese Kit Diptych", an installation by artist Walter Willems, at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art in Toronto, on June 17, 2005. One of the drum kits has real (mainly Dutch) cheese for drums, the other one has plastic cheese replicas. Bennink also drums on a regular kit and on some yellow wooden shoes he is wearing. Walter Willems created Cheese Kit Diptych specifically to be played by Han Bennink, and he considered the installation incomplete until Bennink had played it.
Part 1
The other two parts and the encore follow after the jump.
no better time than now for a cheesy rimshot

If it were possible for me to love cheese more than I already do, this has made it so. Thanks!

It must be said that the cheeses, they have a warm and mellow tone. I think this means they are ripe and ready to eat.
