Only four days remain in WFMU's annual fundraising Marathon and we're just about two thirds of the way to our goal.
Another great way to help WFMU's 2009 Marathon is to post WFMU marathon notices on your page.
Facebookers can join our WFMU Marathon event here, and add the marathon badge/app here.
Bloggers and MySpacers can put an insta-pledge box on your site. We have two versions - the horizontal insta-pledge box, or the vertically oriented model designed for the side columns of blogs. Just cut and paste the code for the boxes into the html section of your webpage and include a heartfelt plea about how great WFMU is.
Tweeters, spread the word and use our hashtag of #wfmuthon.
Thanks, and pass it on!
Done! I'm too much of a rube to use it as a banner but it seems to have worked OK within a post that mentions Yo La Tengo, B.T. Express, Carlos Ward, Dollar Brand and Cecil Taylor.

Hope this helps in some small way.

It helps in a large way Willis. Even if one person pledges one dollar it helps. Every little bit does and we thank you and everyone out there posting notices.

I've had the event up on Facebook since the start. Have also posted to the event's comment section to urge folks to help out. Will do so again before the end of the Marathon.
And hey, no reason to take the banner off your blog or social-net page after the Marathon's done. The need for green is evergreen.
