Not sure whether or not she was aiming to be the next Stacia, but this clip (from Midev's YT) isn't Fox's first tangling with the Space Ritualists; she also took Nik Turner's vox away from "Master of the Universe" during a 2000 live reunion of old/new members called Hawkestra (which needless to say devolved into a litigious mess afterwards trying to divide up the proceeds. Check out commentary on this segment of a BBC Hawkwind documentary). This live Stones cover was apparently played each night over house PA's to usher Oasis on stage.

Sorry Dale , but Sam actually started as a singer , with a recording contract , which was taken to court when she landed the modelling of the Sun due to conflict of interest , she was later picked up by Jive/Zomba
