On Wednesday, Seven Second Delay kicks off a new schedule at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre -- Ken and Andy will broadcast live before an audience there every other week. This week's show features guests Frank M. Ahearn, an expert at making yourself disappear; all-female French horn pop quartet Ghengis Barbie; and comedian Chris Gethard of Comedy Central's Big Lake. 1/12, from 6 to 7 PM at 307 West 26th St. in Manhattan. Transpacific Sound Paradise will be live from the Golden Festival this week, on the second night in this Balkan bacchanal of music and dance. Over 40 Balkan and Eastern European bands perform on four stages, and after the broadcast the party will continue late into the night. Finally, on Sunday morning super early, Keili is hosting a set from Dinowalrus, the Brooklyn synth-punk band whose influences are myriad, almost dizzyingly so. The trio, including guitarist Pete Feigenbaum (ex-Titus Andronicus), will entertain us with their unpredictable blend of synthpop, shoegaze, postpunk, krautrock, and possibly more. Beastin' the Airwaves! is on on Sunday 1/16, from 6 to 9 AM.
