As the dust settles post-Marathon, WFMU takes no holiday... though we are feeling GREAT about our most successful annual pledge drive in history! If you pledged, thank you so unbelievably much for being a part of this unique organization that relies entirely on the generosity of its listeners. If you did NOT pledge, you may still do so; we'd love to meet our goal and right now are only about $45K shy of it. Use the online pledge form here.

Hey, I don't have an archive link to post today. But in the wake of the 2011 Marathon, I would like to extend a very personal thank-you to everyone in the WFMU community ("just for being you!"): listeners who pledged, DJs and other staff who always throw their hearts and souls into this mammoth endeavor, and my fellow volunteers who work hard, have the best time, and take care of each other. I say it's a personal message, because I personally love all that the volunteering experience has taught me -- the way people come together in the service of the station's creativity is so inspiring and moving. Really.
This truly is the greatest radio station in the world, driven by a growing team of incredible people. There is nothing else like it.
