Today a small artifact from 1965, a seven inch promotional long play to showcase the upcoming Caedmon / Houghton-Mifflin jointly produced Sound of Literature series. As sales to schools and libraries must have been their prime source of revenue, Caedmon, especially, needed to use every tool available to move vinyl out there.
As I don't have any of the full-length lps that are excerpted here, I enjoy this little sampler, as it fits into my singles-box of records for easy transport. A good one to slip on the record-changer stack with the music 45's. Here the tracks are broken down further than on the original record - for easier DJing. Your invitation to rock out to 50 Super-Hits of Lit !
