Tony Coulter here, hoping to shine a light on a fine but little-known duo dubbed KinkZoid. Formed in 2005, KinkZoid consists of Steve De Chiara -- formerly of Chicago's great Blitzoids -- and Greg Chapman. Like the Blitzoids, echos of whose sound are very much in evidence, KinkZoid records avant-outsider songs that blend Rock in Opposition--style prog with Residential goofiness, and mix humour with anger and despair.
